Let\u2019s explain!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83d\udccb What is Henner?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Henner<\/strong> is the insurance company contracted by the European Commission to provide <strong>international complementary health insurance<\/strong> to ESC volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This insurance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complements the <strong>European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)<\/strong> if you have one.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acts as the <strong>main insurance<\/strong> if you do <strong>not<\/strong> have an EHIC or it\u2019s not valid in your host country.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u2705 What does it cover?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Henner covers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Medical consultations (with or without EHIC)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prescribed medication<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical and emergency dental treatment<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lab tests and X-rays<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emergency hospital visits<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical evacuation and repatriation if needed<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Psychotherapy (up to a specific limit)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physiotherapy (when prescribed)<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u26a0\ufe0f It\u2019s always important to <strong>check the coverage table<\/strong> and limits per treatment type. You can find all of this in your personal Henner account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83d\udcb8 How does reimbursement work?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Visit and payment<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You go to the doctor, pay for the service, and request an <strong>invoice and medical prescription<\/strong> (if applicable).<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fill out the form<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to your <strong>Henner personal portal<\/strong>: https:\/\/portail.henner.com<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the claim form and upload your documents.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wait for the reimbursement<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If everything is in order, the refund is made via <strong>bank transfer<\/strong> (usually within a few days).<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcce Tip: Always ask for <strong>invoices with your full name and date<\/strong>!
