Parks in Lisbon
Parque Eduardo VII
Located in the city center, this is one of Lisbon’s most famous parks. It offers a fantastic panoramic view over the city and is home to Estufa Fria, a greenhouse with exotic plants from around the world.
Jardim da Estrela

Monsanto Forest Park

Jardim Gulbenkian
It’s a beautiful garden in the Fundaçao Calouste Gulbenkian. A garden where there is biodiversity of fauna and flora. Estufa fria
Located inside the Eduardo VII park, is a special place with a wonderful botanical collection and architectural objects.
There are more than 300 plant species and also activities related to plantations that want to promote sustainable perspectives and biodiversity.
Jardim do Caracol
It was the result of a participative contest that asked for the requalification of this green area that naturally has 60 species of trees. It’s now a wonderful place for locals from the area of Arroios and Anjos to go there. There is also a dog-friendly place

Beaches Near Lisbon

Easiest Beaches to Reach by Train
The beaches along the Linha de Cascais train line are the most accessible. You can take a train from Cais do Sodré station and reach several beautiful beaches in just 30–40 minutes.
- Carcavelos Beach – The most popular beach along this route, Carcavelos is known for its golden sand, good surf conditions, and lively atmosphere.

More Remote Beaches
